Storage
Everything you keep in MotherFluxer takes up storage: the files you upload and the artifacts you generate. Your storage tier sets how much you can hold. This page shows where to check your usage, what counts toward it, and what to do when you fill up.
Where to see your storage
Open Settings to view your storage at a glance:
- Usage vs. limit — how much storage you've used compared to the total your tier allows.
- Tier name — the name of your current storage tier.
Check here whenever you want to know how much room you have left before adding more files or generating new artifacts.
What counts toward your storage
Two things use your storage:
- Uploads — every file you add to MotherFluxer (images, audio, documents, and more).
- Generated artifacts — everything you create in chat, including Apps, Images, Videos, Documents, 3D models, and audio.
As you upload and generate more, your usage climbs toward your limit. Deleting files and artifacts lowers it again.
When you hit the limit
When you reach your storage limit, new uploads are blocked and a Storage Limit prompt appears. Your existing files and artifacts stay safe and fully usable — you just can't add more until you make room or move to a tier with more space.
How to free up space or upgrade
You have two ways to keep working:
- Free up space — delete uploads and generated artifacts you no longer need. Browse your saved work under Artifacts and Projects, then remove anything you're done with. Your usage in Settings drops as you delete.
- Upgrade for unlimited storage — Premium includes unlimited storage, so you never hit a Storage Limit prompt again. Upgrade from your account settings to lift the cap entirely.
If you only need a little more room, clearing out old files is the quickest fix. If you upload and generate a lot, Premium removes the limit for good.
