Storage
Every account includes 10 GB of free storage. This page shows where to check your usage, what counts toward it, and what to do when you fill up.
Where to see your storage
Open Settings to view your storage at a glance: how much you've used compared to your 10 GB limit. Check here whenever you want to know how much room you have left before adding more files.
What counts toward your storage
Your 10 GB free storage counts your private uploads — the files you add to MotherFluxer that you keep to yourself. It does not count:
- AI-generated artifacts (Images, Videos, Documents, 3D models, audio, and Apps you generate).
- Anything you publish to the community.
So generating and sharing don't eat into your 10 GB — only the private files you upload and keep do. Deleting files lowers your usage again.
When you hit the limit
When you reach your 10 GB limit, new uploads are blocked and a Storage Limit prompt appears. Your existing files and artifacts stay safe and fully usable — you just can't add more until you make room or add more storage.
How to free up space or add more
You have two ways to keep working:
- Free up space — delete uploads you no longer need. Browse your saved work under Artifacts and Projects, then remove anything you're done with. Your usage in Settings drops as you delete.
- Add a storage add-on — need more than 10 GB? A storage add-on gives you more room, billed separately as an add-on (not a plan). Add one from your account settings.
If you only need a little more room, clearing out old files is the quickest fix. If you upload a lot, a storage add-on lifts the limit.
Inactive artifact cleanup
To keep storage sustainable, artifacts you haven't opened in a long time (about 90 days) may be automatically removed to free up space. You're always warned first, and it's easy to keep anything you still want:
- We email you when an artifact is scheduled for removal, with a 14-day grace period before anything happens, plus a reminder as the date approaches.
- Opening the artifact keeps it — any time you view it, the countdown resets.
- Favorited artifacts are never automatically removed. Favorite anything you'd like to keep permanently.
This only affects artifacts left untouched for months — your active work is never at risk.
