Common issues

Most things in MotherFluxer just work, but here are the snags people hit most — and the quick fix for each.

A generation didn't finish or errored

Generations occasionally fail or stall. When that happens:

  • Try again. Re-run the same request — many errors are transient and clear on a second attempt.
  • Rephrase your prompt. Make it more specific, shorter, or clearer about the result you want.
  • Pick a different model option. If the request lets you choose a model, try another one from the options shown — each has its own cost and speed.

If it keeps failing, simplify the request to its core idea, then add detail back once you get a result.

An edit option shows "Soon"

Some editing tools display a Soon label. That means the operation isn't available yet for that artifact type — it's on the way, just not live.

  • Use one of the other available edit options for now.
  • For freeform changes, describe what you want in chat and let Smart Edit handle it.
  • For hands-on tweaks, open the artifact and use Direct Edit.

There's nothing to fix on your end — the labeled option simply isn't ready yet.

An upload was rejected

If an upload won't go through, you've most likely hit your storage limit. Each plan includes a set amount of space, and new uploads stop once you're full.

To get unblocked:

  • Free up space. Delete artifacts you no longer need from Artifacts or Projects.
  • Upgrade your plan for more storage.
  • Add fewer or smaller files in a single upload.

Once you're back under your limit, the upload will succeed.

Server-rendered download and export links are time-limited and expire after a while. An old link will eventually stop loading — that's expected, not a broken file.

  • Just re-export. Open the artifact and run the export again to get a fresh link.
  • Use the new link right away rather than saving it for later.

Your artifact is safe; only the temporary link expired.

A published App isn't showing my latest changes

When you edit an App after publishing, the live version doesn't update automatically. The published page keeps showing the version you last published.

  • Make your edits, then Publish again to push the current version live.
  • Refresh the published page after re-publishing to confirm your changes appear.

Every change you want visitors to see needs a fresh Publish.

A video or document export is taking a while

Video and document exports run as a server render, so they take longer than a quick image save — especially for longer videos or multi-page documents.

  • Give it a moment. Let the export finish rather than starting it over.
  • Bigger or more complex artifacts naturally take longer.
  • When it's done, you'll get a download link — grab it promptly, since these links expire.

A slow export is usually just the render working, not a failure.

Still stuck?

If something keeps misbehaving after trying the steps above:

  • Reload the page and try the action once more.
  • Confirm you have enough credits — tap Add Credits if you're low.
  • Try a simpler version of the request to narrow down what's going wrong.
