Your first creation
Welcome to MotherFluxer. In the next couple of minutes you'll go from a blank chat to a finished, saved creation. Follow along — there's nothing to set up.
Start a chat and type a prompt
Everything in MotherFluxer starts in chat. Just describe what you want.
- Open a new chat.
- In the message box, type what you want to make. For your first try, keep it simple: a watercolor fox.
- Press send.
That's it. You don't need special phrasing or commands — plain language works. The more specific you are ("a watercolor fox curled up asleep, soft pastel colors"), the closer the first result lands to what you pictured.
Watch it generate as an artifact card
After you send your prompt, MotherFluxer gets to work and your creation appears right in the conversation as an artifact card.
- The card shows live progress while it generates, then fills in with your finished result.
- An artifact is any creation MotherFluxer makes for you — an image, a video, a document, a song, a 3D object, an App, and more. Your watercolor fox is an image artifact.
- Generating uses a small amount of credits. New accounts start with credits to play with, and you can always Add Credits later when you want more.
When the card is done, you're ready to open it and start editing.
Open it in the editor
Tap or click your artifact card to open it in the editor — a full workspace for refining your creation.
- The editor gives you a large preview of your artifact plus tools along the edges.
- Nothing you do here is permanent until you save, so feel free to experiment.
- You can always close the editor and come back; your work stays with the artifact.
There are two ways to change your creation, and you'll try both next: Smart Edit (describe what you want) and Direct Edit (hands-on tools).
Make one Smart Edit
Smart Edit lets you change your creation by simply describing what you want — no tools, no fiddling.
- Open Smart Edit in the editor.
- Type the change in plain language, for example: make the fox orange and add falling autumn leaves.
- Send it and watch MotherFluxer rework your artifact to match.
Tips for great Smart Edits:
- Ask for one or two clear changes at a time rather than a long list.
- Describe the result you want, not the steps to get there.
- Don't love the result? Edit again — each Smart Edit builds on the last.
Try one Direct Edit tool
Direct Edit is the hands-on side of the editor — tools you control yourself for precise tweaks.
- Find the Direct Edit tools in the editor.
- Pick one and try it on your artifact. For an image, a great first tool is the crop or color/adjust control — drag, slide, and watch the preview update instantly.
- Apply the change when you're happy with it.
Smart Edit and Direct Edit work together: describe big changes with Smart Edit, then fine-tune the details with Direct Edit.
Save a version with Snapshot
Happy with where your creation is? Save it with Snapshot.
- A Snapshot captures the current state of your artifact as a saved version.
- Take a Snapshot whenever you reach a result you like — before trying a bold new change, or just to lock in a keeper.
- You can keep editing afterward, and your saved Snapshot stays safe so you can always return to it.
Snapshot is your safety net: experiment freely, and Snapshot the moments worth keeping.
Find it later in Artifacts
Your creations don't disappear when you move on — they collect in your Artifacts gallery.
- Open Artifacts from the main navigation.
- Browse your gallery to see every creation you've made.
- Select your watercolor fox to reopen it in the editor and keep going.
A few things to know:
- Artifacts holds all your creations across every chat, in one place.
- You can organize related work into Projects to keep things tidy.
- When you make something you're proud of, you can Publish it to share.
That's a full creation, start to finish. Now try a new prompt — make a song, a short video, a document, or a 3D object — and let MotherFluxer surprise you.
